A brief Introduction to Yan Fuli Jun Porcelain Art Studio
Yan Fuli Jun Porcelain Art Studio is located in the South Area of the Zhengzhou University. This is the first Jun Porcelain art studio named after a Jun Porcelain artist. Mr. Yan Fuli, Chinese Mater Artist of Folk Arts and Crafts named by UNESCO and Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association leads the art studio. The studio is comprised of experts, scholars, artists and professional technical personnel with strong capability, unique art style, and dedication to porcelain art research.
Jun porcelain, one of the four main styles of traditional porcelain in China, is named as the national treasure for its colorful glaze. After thirty-year dedication in the cause of Jun porcelain art for thirty years, Mr. Yan Fuli has had his unique understanding in the field of Jun porcelain art work and evaluation. He first proposed the theory of six qualities and six appearances of Jun porcelains in terms of soul, uniqueness, novelness, excellence, elegance. Based on the foundation of traditional Jun Porcelain arts, he has researched and made master piece Jun porcelain work with high-tech three-dimensional glaze and micro scene glaze, which maintained deep national culture and modern characteristics. His work receives high regard from scientists, artists, artwork collectors and leaders. He has revitalized Jun porcelain art and opened a new era of modern Jun porcelain arts.
