The College of Life Sciences

    
The School of Life Sciences was established in 2001. Currently we have 73 faculties, including 52 full-time teachers, two adjunct academicians. Among the teachers, three of them are Ph.D. supervisors, 18 of them are professors and 17 of them are associate professors, 45 of them have Ph.D. degrees.
There are three undergraduate majors: biotechnology, bioengineering, and bioinformatics. There are about 1000 undergraduate students at present. All the faculties are dedicated to build a high-standard undergraduate training system. The course of Botany was named as Provincial Excellent Course. The Biochemistry teaching team was rewarded as Provincial Teaching Team. The Biological Science and Technology Experiment Center, which is responsible for the experimental training of our undergraduates, was rewarded as the Provincial Experimental Teaching Center. Postgraduate students

The college currently has35 postgraduate student supervisors. The college is authorized to confer M.S. degrees in all disciplines in Biology .
