A Brief Introduction of the Institute of Higher Education of
Zhengzhou University
Founded in 2002, the Institute of Higher Education of Zhengzhou University
has 6 members now, one professor, two associate professors, two lecturers and
one assistant, among which are two doctors and one master. Catering for the
need of the development of Zhengzhou University, the Institute is
characterized by its higher education research and policy consultation. Its
main functions are as follows: serving the University decision-making; acting
as a brain trust; surveying the development and construction of the
University; making a research in higher education; communicating the foreign
and domestic higher education information; introducing the useful education
ideas; and strengthen the relationship and cooperation with the other higher
education organizations.
The Institute has 3 offices, office of higher education research, office
of education policy research and office of the journal edit, and publishes the
Journal of Zhengzhou University (Education Science Edition) and the Digest of
Higher Education. In recent years, the Institute has been awarded 12 programs,
some of which completed, and at the same time, several specialized programs
about how Zhengzhou University becomes a top university are under way.
